Hello my wonderful readers! I have some great news, and some frustrating news, and thankfully they are caused by the same thing initiating this big change. As many of you are familiar with, I have been creating blog post line by line in HTML code doing my very best to provide you dynamic and beautiful post (at least I think they are beautiful) so that you can engage with us, and not feel like you are at just another blog. Unfortunately, because I am coding it line by line, I have found that I have hit a bit of a personal experience wall where I am trying to learn the coding to develop strong features like new post pushing previous content down, comment sections, tags, and more.
Because of these many hurtles I am very quickly falling behind on posting, and I realized that for every post I am editing 4 pages (post page, Blog.php, Blog2.php etc.) and that is not a very efficient way to manage our blog page. I want to make sure that I am putting great content out there, and that I am not dragging myself down trying to solve problems I’ve created for myself while trying to connect with you, my audience. Because of all of this, I have decided to move our blog onto a WordPress page.
Things to Expect
So! What does that mean for the content you see? Well, I have still learned so much over the past two years, and WordPress has a powerful editor that is available for those who can manage code. As I am posting, I am going to be learning what WordPress defaults are, and using this page to customize some of the displays you are used to seeing to look more like our blog rather than another WordPress site. We will still keep some of the great features provided, and make it work for us.
What We Want From You
Let us know what you think. Do you like our new blog page? What would you like to see during this big change? Let us know in the comments below what you think. We are excited to hear what you think.
